What are your hours of operation? For your convenience Oak Unlimited is open 7 days a week. Click now for hours and directions. We do close for all statutory holidays.
Do you have a mailing list? Yes, we do have an emailing list and invite you to add your email address to it. We take the privacy of our subscribers very seriously and would encourage you to review our Privacy Policy prior to adding your address to our list. We only email you occasionally, when there is a promotion or event that we feel you may be interested in. If for some reason you choose to unsubscribe, simply follow the instructions that accompany every email
How long after placing my order will I receive my purchase? Most orders take 6 to 8 weeks. The majority of the product we have in our showroom is special order. However, we do have floor models for sale from time to time.
There are many factors that influence the time between order placement and delivery time. We deal exclusively with Canadian and some American furniture manufacturers who manufacture and finish your pieces according to your order and this of course takes time. In some cases our manufacturers’ high standards dictate when they will manufacture as well – proper temperature, curing time, etc.
Oak Unlimited is committed to filling your order as quickly as possible. So as soon as we have fully inspected your purchase, we will contact you to make delivery or pick-up arrangements.
Do you charge for delivery? We are pleased to offer free delivery service to our clients. We will coordinate delivery in your area, at your convenience, Wednesday to Saturday. Product will be brought into the home put into place, and all pieces requiring assembly will be constructed for you.
What is your delivery area? Oak Unlimited routinely delivers to homes and cottages in Durham Region, the Greater Toronto Area as well as cottage country including the Muskoka and Kawartha Regions.
Who will assemble my furniture? Our delivery specialists will happily deliver and assemble and place your furniture. Every member of our delivery team is an employee of Oak Unlimited so they have the experience and professionalism that you have come to expect from our company. They are very respectful of your home. In fact, other than the fabulous new furniture, you might never know we were there!
Do you deliver on weekends or in the evening? We will arrange a convenient delivery that does not interfere with your schedule. We do not deliver to an empty home and require a signature when you take delivery.
Please note: It is important to consider the dimensions of large purchases with respect to the access ways of your home BEFORE placing your order. Oak Unlimited is not responsible for delivery of items if accesses to your doorways, halls and/or staircases are impassible.
What is your warranty/guarantee? Oak Unlimited stands behind every product we sell. We are determined to provide the best product possible and work with you to ensure 100% satisfaction.
A manufacturer's guarantee/warrantee is offered on all first quality products. The terms and conditions differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it is important to review these with our staff when you are placing your order.
Oak Unlimited performs a thorough quality inspection of every product before it is delivered to you. We perform another inspection together with you when the product is delivered or picked up at our store. We will not deliver a product unless it passes inspection and has no damage, regardless of how minor.
What is your return policy? Furniture purchased from Oak Unlimited is a lifetime purchase and we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept a return of any undamaged items. A re-stocking fee may be applied.
What are your payment terms? We require a 10% deposit on all orders, with the balance due on delivery. We accept cheques, Visa or MasterCard. Our Delivery Team is also able to accept these payments on delivery.
Do you offer financing? In Store 90 Days - No Deposit, No Monthly Payments, No Interest In Store 180 Days (6 Months) Deposit = Tax Portion of Invoice, Balance Due in 180 Days, Subject To Approval - No Monthly, No Interest
Can I order from your Web site? Our Web site is not currently equipped to process online transactions, but we do accept orders by phone on all items available. Simply Contact Us during business hours or email us and we will contact you to discuss
Why do you not post pricing on your Web site? Oak Unlimited does not post prices on our Web site for a number of reasons. One of which is the fact that price varies depending on size, finish and species of wood. We are happy to provide you with a very competitive price on any item you wish to inquire about.
